In the Spanish University Championships celebrated in Malaga the days 28, 29 and 30 of April, the competitors of the UPC and the UAB made great fights. The representatives of the UAB did not obtain any metal. However the UPC obtained 1 gold medal and 2 bronze medals, moving into 6š place in the general classification by teams, behind País Vasco (1º), Vigo (2º) and Valencia (3º). |

-55 kg. Bantam. Gemma González: she won her first fight, going through to quarterfinals, against the Universidad Pública de Navarra, in which Gemma could not make anything to qualify for the semifinals. The competitor of Navarra would become champion of Spain at the end of the championship. |
